Adult Autism & ADHD Evaluations in Montana

Neurodivergent-Affirming Autism and ADHD Evaluations for Montana Adults

Three levels of support to fit your goals: From diagnostic clarity to self-discovery

Are you a Montana resident feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or unsure whether you're neurodivergent? Many adults begin exploring autism or ADHD after years of masking, pushing through, and wondering why life feels harder than it should. If you're seeking compassion and answers from someone who truly understands, you’re in the right place.

Adult Autism and ADHD Evaluations Across Montana

As a neurodivergent psychologist licensed in Montana, I provide autism and ADHD evaluations that are affirming, respectful, and tailored to you. Services are available across Montana via secure telehealth, including Missoula, Bozeman, Billings, and surrounding areas.

A Therapeutic and Affirming Approach

Maybe you’ve self-diagnosed and want clarity, or you’re looking for an official evaluation to access accommodations, support at work, or personal peace of mind. My adult assessments are designed not just to provide answers, but to help you feel seen, validated, and supported. My evaluations are grounded in empathy and designed to reflect your real life. This is a collaborative, therapeutic process that honors your lived experience and focuses on increasing self-understanding so you can craft a life that fits you.

Each assessment is:

  • Neurodiversity-affirming and identity-respecting

  • Emotionally aware and trauma-informed

  • Comprehensive, with an examination of any depression, anxiety, or attention challenges

  • Focused on your strengths, coping strategies, and challenges

  • Designed to help you understand yourself with compassion

You don’t need to fit a stereotype to be autistic or have ADHD. I specialize in high-masking presentations, especially in women and LGBTQ+ adults who may have gone misunderstood for years.

Evaluation Packages for Montana Adults

Every adult autism evaluation is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, and tailored to your needs. Whether you're exploring a long-standing question or seeking documentation, I offer two options to meet different comfort levels and goals.

Both packages are thoughtfully designed to provide meaningful insight, not just a diagnosis. You’ll receive clear, supportive feedback that helps you understand how your traits show up in daily life  and what might help moving forward. Most adults choose the $1,200 option, though a more detailed report is available if needed.

ADHD Is Always Included (At No Extra Cost)

Because ADHD and autism often overlap, I include ADHD screening as part of every adult evaluation. If ADHD seems relevant, I’ll add focused interview questions and standardized checklists to help us explore how attention and executive functioning show up in your daily life. I have done hundreds of adult autism evaluations and I understand the unique presentation of AuDHD (autism and ADHD), and I can help explain how your traits fit that pattern and provide an official ADHD if warranted.

There is no need for cognitive testing to diagnose ADHD. Instead, I focus on how you actually function in the real world, including how you plan, complete tasks, and respond when things feel overwhelming. If your doctor requests cognitive testing to prescribe medication, I can adjust the evaluation process and pricing to meet those needs.

1. Signature Therapeutic Evaluation for Autism and ADHD: $1,200

A focused, affirming process designed to help you better understand yourself. This option is ideal if you're looking for meaningful insights, a diagnosis (if appropriate), and practical next steps, without the cost or stress of a long formal report.

Includes:

  • Compassionate interview exploring your background and autistic characteristics

  • Targeted questionnaires related to social traits, masking, executive functioning, and mental health

  • Exploration of executive functioning (how you plan, organize, focus, and cope)

  • Consideration of ADHD symptoms and diagnosis if relevant

  • Supportive feedback session where we review your results and what they mean for you

  • Formal diagnosis if appropriate

You'll receive:

  • A thoughtful letter of findings that affirms your lived experiences. The letter highlights strengths, patterns, autistic traits, and how masking, burnout, ADHD, trauma, and other mental health challenges or life events shaped your experiences

  • A clear summary of assessment data, including any diagnoses, integrated into the Letter of Findings

  • A visual handout highlighting strengths and neurodivergent traits

  • A collection of Montana-appropriate resources, handouts, and workbooks to support your journey

Best for:

Montana adults seeking an in-depth, supportive evaluation that emphasizes real-life impact and next steps, without needing a full psychological report. Results are clearly explained and delivered in compassionate and accessible format.

2. Diagnostic Evaluation for Autism and ADHD: $1,800

  • Extensive resources/handouts/workbooks provided as you continue on your journey

Best for:
Montana adults who need official documentation, or who feel more comfortable having everything written out in depth. We’ll talk at the beginning to make sure this is the right fit for your needs.

Exploration & Support Without a Diagnosis

Not everyone needs or wants a formal evaluation. If you’re self-diagnosed, exploring traits of autism or ADHD, or simply want to better understand your brain, a consultation may be a better fit.

Self-Discovery Consultation: $450

A supportive space to reflect on neurodivergent traits, increase self-understanding, and explore strategies for daily life. No testing or diagnosis is provided.

Includes:

  • 3-hour supportive session (can be split into 2 sessions)

  • Exploration of neurodivergent traits

  • Psychoeducation about autism, ADHD, and masking

  • Time to ask questions and reflect on your experiences

  • Strategies to reduce burnout, improve functioning, and support daily life

  • Extensive handouts, workbooks, and resources tailored to your needs as a Montana adult

Recommended for:
Montana adults who are self-diagnosed or questioning whether they may be neurodivergent and want affirming guidance without pursuing a diagnosis.
