Gain clarity and confidence with neurodiversity-affirming assessment

Welcome: I'm Glad You're Here

If you found me through Psychology Today, you’re in the right place. I provide neurodiversity-affirming evaluations for children and teens across Montana using secure, easy-to-access telehealth. Whether you're in Missoula, Billings, Bozeman, Helena, Kalispell, or a rural area. I'm here to help.

Answers and Resources for Montana Families

Psychological evaluations can offer clarity, confidence, and direction for families navigating challenges at school, at home, or in relationships. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual, rooted in a deep understanding of neurodivergent youth and high-performing students who often fly under the radar.

My Approach

My goal is to make this process supportive and empowering. I use a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based lens, and I strive to create a safe space for students to be seen and heard. Evaluations are not about "what's wrong" but about better understanding how your child or teen experiences the world and what can help them thrive.

Who I Work With

I evaluate children and teens ages 10 and up

  • Children masking signs of autism or ADHD

  • Teens struggling with friendships or emotional regulation

  • Bright students facing executive functioning or learning challenges

  • Families seeking clarity for 504 Plans, IEPs, or college disability services

  • Students experiencing anxiety, depression, or school refusal

Signs to Look For
You might consider an evaluation if your child or teen:

  • Melts down after school or seems emotionally drained

  • Struggles with organization, planning, or completing work

  • Has difficulty making or keeping friends

  • Excels academically but seems overwhelmed or shut down

  • Is often misunderstood at school or home

What to Expect

All evaluations are neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based. Each includes:

  • A parent/caregiver intake session

  • Individual testing sessions with the child or teen

  • A feedback meeting to review results and recommendations

  • A written report that can be shared with schools, providers, or other professionals

I focus on practical, affirming, and easy-to-understand insights that help both caregivers and professionals support the child more effectively.

Evaluation Types

Autism Evaluations (Ages 10+)

For children who may have been overlooked due to strong academics or masking. Includes gold-standard tools and nuanced interpretation.

ADHD Evaluations

Focused assessment of attention, impulsivity, and executive functioning. Helpful for diagnosis, treatment planning, and accommodations.

Learning Disability Evaluations

Assessment of reading, writing, and math to identify learning profiles and support diagnoses like dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia.

Social-Emotional & Mental Health Evaluations

Ideal for clarifying issues like anxiety, depression, behavioral changes, or emotional dysregulation.

Transition-to-Adulthood Evaluations (Ages 16–18)

Support for teens preparing for adulthood or college. Includes identity exploration, burnout recovery, independence planning, and documentation for disability services.

Does Your Child Seem “Fine” on the Outside—But You Know They’re Struggling?

Many Montana families are in public or private schools where students are expected to be independent, capable, and resilient. When a child is bright, well-behaved, or performing well on paper, signs of autism, ADHD, or anxiety can easily be missed, especially in girls, perfectionists, or kids who internalize their struggles.

You may have been told your child doesn’t qualify for an IEP or 504 Plan, or that nothing seems wrong. But as a parent, you see the stress, the shutdowns, the missed connections.

I specialize in helping families uncover what’s being overlooked, as well and giving you the insight and documentation to support your child’s success.

School Consultation & Advocacy

As a nationally certified school psychologist, I can provide school-focused support, either on its own or as part of an evaluation. Services may include:

  • Reviewing 504 Plans, IEPs, and educational records

  • Making clear recommendations for school teams

  • Consulting with districts (when appropriate)

  • Helping families advocate for the support their child needs

Pricing Overview

Because evaluations vary in scope and complexity, pricing is tailored to the individual case. As a general guide:

  • Comprehensive evaluations (e.g., autism, ADHD, learning disabilities): Typically start at $2,000–$2,500

  • Limited-scope evaluations (e.g., anxiety, depression only): Starts at $750

Families will receive a detailed Good Faith Estimate after intake to confirm services and pricing. CareCredit and payment plans are available. Visit the Finance page for details.
